Shift details: Alternating weekend, 8 AM – 8 PM – 12‑hour shifts.

AboutThe Role
The Senior Care Assistant will support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Other Responsibilities Will Include- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any care changes and ensuring that new needs are met, with records updated accordingly.
- Being involved in the person‑centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our Ideal Candidate Must- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
