As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide personalised support to individuals in their own homes solely the Peterborough area.
Main Responsibilities- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with mobility and medication
Pay: (7.5% increase in April)
Weekdays - £14.88 per hour
Weekends - £15.48 per hour
Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
Shifts:
Cross Keys offers a 16 hours per week contract but you will be expected to work on average around 30 hours per week on the following rota.
(The hours can vary on the scheduled days but you must be available)
Visits typically vary from 30 minutes and have many cleaning calls lasting 1 hour
Week 1Monday 7am - 2:30pm
Tuesday 7am - 2:30pm
Wednesday 4pm - 10pm
Thursday 4pm - 10pm
Friday 4pm - 10pm
Saturday - off
Sunday - off
Week 2Monday 7am - 2:30pm
Tuesday 7am - 2:30pm
Wednesday - off
Thursday 4pm - 10pm
Friday - off
Saturday 4pm - 10pm
Sunday 7am - 2:30pm
Requirements- Full UK licence with access to own car
- Female applicants only due to client preference
- Experience is preferred but isn't required as full training is provided
- Must live in Peterborough area
