Position Summary

Our Adult Supported Living Home is looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Tigh Dion in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

A Life Practitioner will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, assisting them in daily activities and accompanying them on community trips.

To drive the company vehicle, a full UK driver’s licence is required, or UK driving experience of at least 2 years.

• Assist individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs with daily activities.
• Accompany clients on community trips and outings.
• Transport clients to shopping, meals, appointments, and other activities using company vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records and support documentation.

Starting rates are £12.71 per hour for Level 1, £13.10 per hour for Level 2, and £13.60 per hour for Level 3. Experience may adjust rates. A competency framework unlocks pathways to increased hourly rates.

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
