Housekeeping Assistant

Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness, laundry, and service are maintained in the home. You will follow our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry and provide high‑quality care to residents while respecting their dignity and personal space.

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understand cleaning requirements for different surfaces and use appropriate materials.
• Maintain all areas in well‑presented, clean, and safe condition.
• Respect residents, their personal space and belongings at all times.
• Adapt to additional tasks and cover responsibilities on short notice as required.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH.
• Experience with cleaning and laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to delivering high‑quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible, covering a range of responsibilities at short notice.

• ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
