Accuracy Checking Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in managing the day‑to‑day running of the dispensary.
• Allocate work to Dispensing Technicians and Assistants to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Manage stock levels and serve as an expert contact for customers, providing healthcare advice and services at the counter.
• Assist with sales and general store duties, including product displays and cash transactions.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers, manage high‑volume dispensing transactions for local care homes, and handle operational queries from GP surgeries.

• Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services.
• GPhC registration.
