Zest Optical are working alongside a unique online optical business to recruit a Dispensing Optician for a unique office‑based opportunity unlike a traditional practice role. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team operating at the intersection of optics, eyewear and sport, supporting customers with specialist products across sport and luxury eyewear. If you're a Dispensing Optician who has a genuine interest in lenses and specialist eyewear, and would like to move into a Monday‑Friday role without weekend working, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

As a Dispensing Optician, you'll provide professional oversight across the prescription eyewear operation whilst supporting a team of Optical Assistants and ensuring the highest standards of dispensing and customer care. Alongside the day‑to‑day dispensing support, you'll have the opportunity to become involved in specialist sports vision, lens technologies and, over time, product development projects.

To be successful, you'll be a qualified GOC registered Dispensing Optician who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering exceptional standards. You will ideally have:

• GOC‑registered Dispensing Optician qualification
• Excellent dispensing and optical knowledge
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• A collaborative, supportive approach to working with colleagues
• An interest in specialist eyewear, sports vision or lens technology would be advantageous
• A desire to contribute ideas and help shape the future development of the business

• Salary up to £36,000 depending on experience
