We are recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate Team Leaderto join our team.
As a Team Leader, you will provide person-centred support to adults , helping them to live safely, independently and with dignity. You may support individuals with daily activities, community access, appointments, social activities and other areas of their day-to-day lives.
Key Responsibilities Provide caring, respectful and person-centred support to adults.
Support individuals with their daily routines and activities.
Promote independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing.
Provide companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and take part in activities.
Assist with daily living tasks and personal care where required and appropriately trained.
Support with meal preparation, shopping and household tasks where required.
Support medication in accordance with individual support plans and company procedures, where applicable.
Follow individual care/support plans and risk assessments.
Recognise and report any changes in an individual's wellbeing or circumstances.
Report accidents, incidents and safeguarding concerns promptly.
Maintain professional boundaries and respect confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with families, carers, colleagues and other professionals.
Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and company policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For A caring, patient and respectful approach.
Previous experience in Team Leader, care, healthcare or social care is desirable.
Experience supporting adults with disabilities, additional needs or mental health needs is advantageous.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Reliable, punctual and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good observation and reporting skills.
Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, equality and inclusion.
Willingness to complete relevant training and follow company procedures.
Safeguarding & DBS Safeguarding is an essential part of this role. You must be able to recognise and report concerns relating to abuse, neglect, exploitation or the wellbeing of the people we support.
An appropriate DBS check will be required , along with relevant references and other pre-employment checks.
Working Hours Flexible hours available , depending on the needs of the individuals we support. This may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, appointments and community activities.
