About the Role
Verity Healthcare Limited is a growing domiciliary care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes.
We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team across Peterborough.
You will support individuals with a range of care needs, illnesses and disabilities, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support in service users’ own homes.
* Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
* Support with continence care and personal hygiene.
* Assist with morning and bedtime routines.
* Provide medication support in line with care plans and agreed responsibilities.
* Prepare meals and drinks according to individual preferences and dietary needs.
* Support mobility and the safe use of mobility aids and equipment.
* Complete accurate care records and documentation.
* Follow individual care plans and report any changes or concerns.
* Support with light domestic duties, including housework and laundry, where required.
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety and company policies.
* Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.
* Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and other professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care.
Previous experience in domiciliary care, healthcare, nursing homes or a similar setting is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who have the right attitude and values and are looking to start or develop their career in care.
