As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Peterborough. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants more than just a desk – someone who wants influence, progression, and the chance to be part of a business that truly understands its market.

The Opportunity

This role is perfect for a recruiter who enjoys building strong relationships, owning their desk end-to-end, and being trusted to make decisions. You’ll work closely with high-quality clients across the trade and construction industries and play a key role in Trade Recruit’s continued expansion.

You won’t be micromanaged. You will be supported, developed, and rewarded.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll manage both clients and candidates, delivering a first-class service at every stage.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Building, managing, and growing long-term client relationships

* Taking full ownership of your recruitment desk with a strong focus on revenue and growth

* Creating engaging, targeted job adverts that attract top talent

* Proactively sourcing, headhunting, and registering high-quality candidates

* Managing candidate journeys from first contact through to placement

* Ensuring all compliance and documentation is completed accurately and on time

* Delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates

* Keeping all records up to date within our recruitment system (Temp )

* Supporting urgent client needs as part of a shared out-of-hours rota

* Reporting on performance, pipeline activity, and KPIs

* Using your problem-solving and negotiation skills to overcome challenges and deliver results

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded, and ready to make an impact.

You’ll ideally have:

* 3+ years’ recruitment experience (agency preferred)
