Agile Delivery Manager

Our client is a leader in their field and in the early stages of Digital Transformation to support growth. As part of the transformation, they are reviewing the structure of teams, ways of working, adopting Agile Methodology, implementing Dev Sec Ops  and modernising their tech stack.

There are currently 2 Scrum Masters covering Operations and Software Development and need to recruit a 3rd to drive delivery of Data Projects. The Data Department provide Analytics, Insights and Engineering. They use SAS and Micro Strategy and also Power BI for internal reporting. They will be moving to Data Bricks, Snowflake or Fabric.

As Agile Delivery Manager and Scrum Master you will have a Business Analyst Reporting into you and then a range of Data Resources to deliver projects. You will do daily standup and ceremonies and promote Agile ways of working whilst driving delivery of projects.

They are using an adapted version of Agile here to meet culture and business needs, so would not suit an avid Agile Coach looking to role out text book delivery.

• Agile Delivery Manager with good experience of Data Projects
• Data Projects likely to include any from Analytics, Insights, BI and Engineering
• Projects involving Snowflake or Fabric, Data bricks or other nice to have
• Team Lead experience Business Analysts here and Matrix Management of Data skilled resources
• Scrum Master previously run ceremonies, standups, etc
• Promotes Agile but an adapted version to meet business needs
• 2 days in Peterborough every week, rest remote
