Position: Project Delivery Manager in PE1

Project Delivery Manager

Junior to Mid-weight
• 2–4 years
• Peterborough, UK - In-Office
• Full-time, Permanent

Our client are looking for a confident, organised Project Manager to join our web delivery team in Peterborough. You’ll take ownership of website projects from kickoff through to launch — keeping clients happy, timelines on track, and the team focused. You’ll work across a range of builds, from straightforward brochure sites to complex, multi‑stakeholder projects, and play a hands‑on role in data migration and content population on Word Press.

This is a client‑facing, office‑based role.

You’ll be working day‑to‑day with our Peterborough and overseas team — so building strong working relationships across locations is part of the job. If you’re sociable, outgoing, and thrive around people, you’ll fit right in.

Benefits
  • Casual dress
  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Discounted or free food
  • Free parking
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing the end‑to‑end delivery of small, medium, and complex website builds — scoping, planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication throughout.
  • Serving as the primary client contact across your projects — running calls, managing e‑mail communication, and keeping clients informed at every stage.
  • Owning project timelines and keeping everyone — internally and client‑side — aligned and accountable.
  • Managing scope confidently — recognising when something falls outside the brief, handling change requests professionally and protecting project budgets and timelines.
  • Supporting data migration and content population on Word Press — from structured imports to manual page builds.
  • Casting a critical eye over work before it reaches the client — spotting layout inconsistencies, design issues, or content errors that would otherwise slip through.
  • Acting as the bridge between clients and our dev, design, and marketing teams — translating requirements clearly and managing expectations confidently.
  • Identifying risks early, resolving blockers quickly, and keeping projects moving without the drama.
  • Collaborating closely with our Peterborough office team and overseas colleagues — building strong working relationships and keeping communication clear.
  • Contributing to internal process improvements — we’re always looking to get sharper and more efficient as a team.
What We’re Looking For Essential
  • 2–4 years’ experience in project management, ideally within a digital agency or web‑focused environment.
  • A solid understanding of how websites are built — you don’t need to code, but you need to know what’s involved.
  • Hands‑on experience with Word Press — content management, basic configuration, or data population.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships directly — comfortable on calls, clear in writing, and confident delivering difficult news when needed.
  • Experience managing project scope — identifying out‑of‑scope requests, raising change requests, and protecting timelines and budgets.
  • A keen eye for detail and a natural sense for good design — able to spot when something isn’t quite right before it reaches the client.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills — you keep things neat, documented, and moving.
  • Comfortable working with project management tools (Click Up, Asana, Trello, or similar).
  • A sociable, outgoing personality — someone who builds rapport quickly, communicates openly, and brings good energy to the team.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with digital marketing — SEO, PPC, social media, or paid campaigns.
  • Experience supporting or running discovery phases, briefing documents, or scoping workshops.
Experience
  • Using Click Up or similar tools: 1 year
  • Technical project scoping: 1 year
  • Website & Software Project Management: 2 years (required)
