The roleYou will be responsible for the optimisation of our People systems, managing a transformation programme of work and redesigning workflows to improve efficiencies and employee experience. You will play a key role in the implementation of automation and AI solutions for our people processes, primarily in Service Now. Working closely with the global delivery team, you will represent News UK and ensure solutions are aligned with our business objectives.
Dayto day you will
- Configure, test, and deploy system enhancements (including automation, self‑service and integrations) following robust change and release management practices.
- Contribute towards the People systems roadmap, prioritising initiatives with stakeholders and aligning deliveries to business strategy and compliance requirements.
- Maintain data integrity and governance for News UK on Service Now: define standards, implement controls, conduct audits, and remediate data quality issues.
- Manage service performance, overseeing upgrades, product releases, and issue resolution for News UK.
- Deliver insightful reporting and analytics; translate requirements into dashboards and metrics that drive decision‑making.
- Provide expert support and training to HR teams and end users on Service Now; create documentation, guidance and knowledge articles.
- Monitor system performance and adoption, track benefits realisation, and continuously identify opportunities for optimisation and cost savings.
- Previous experience of Service Now is highly desired.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Proven track‑record of delivering system initiatives to agreed time frames.
