Supply Chain Planner (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: £16.41 - £26.75 per hour (PAYE)

Monday - Friday, flexible office hours

Are you an analytical Supply Chain professional looking to develop your career within a major engineering and manufacturing environment? We are seeking five motivated Supply Chain Planners to join a leading global manufacturer at their site in Peterborough.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on training with advanced inventory systems while supporting a dynamic, fast‑paced team.

Onsite & Hybrid Working:
Initial Training (Approx. 3 Weeks): 5 days per week onsite.

Post‑Training:
Transition to a hybrid model (3 days per week onsite, 2 days remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations across key functional areas (materials, production, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment).
  • Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plans to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of materials.
  • Troubleshoot supply chain bottlenecks and ensure internal/external customer expectations are consistently met.
Required Criteria
  • At least one internship or equivalent professional work experience in a Supply Chain role.
  • Direct experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Good Excel skills and strong overall numerical capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Desirable (But Not Essential)
  • Experience using SAP (a distinct advantage, but training will be provided).
  • Experience with in a manufacturing supply chain environment (automotive experience is not required).
