37.5 hours per week. Shift Pattern: 10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday Nights. Pay: £14.65 per hour.

- Valid forklift operator license/certification, previous experience in waste management or related field preferred, strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- We are looking for a Waste Operative to join the Waste and Cleaning team to undertake the collection, movement, sorting, processing and dispatch of waste and other materials including the compaction of waste and cardboard.
- You should be capable of working and staying compliant with Health and Safety regulations, monitor the performance of equipment, provide support to the On‑Site Waste Coordinator to complete site objectives and make sure to follow PPE guidance.
- You will hold a current Counterbalance FLT license, be prepared to work outside including in extreme weather conditions, have a good level of communicative English as well as be detail conscious and excellent time‑management skills to follow tight deadlines. You will also be required to pass a DBS Check and undertake a drugs/alcohol screening test prior to starting.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in Health & Safety training, an understanding of waste management and environmental legislation, have previous experience in the use of static balers and compactors and also be capable of carrying out strenuous tasks.
