Overview

Discovery Primary Academy is an Ofsted Good rated academy located in the heart of Peterborough. Staff are friendly and supportive, behaviour is excellent, and students are keen to learn. We are looking for a cleaner to join the current team, with their own area of responsibility. Our cleaning team are friendly, hardworking, and committed individuals who can work well as part of a busy team and help maintain a clean environment for our children.

This position is physically demanding and may involve some heavy lifting.

• Maintain a clean and safe learning environment across assigned areas.
• Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard in line with academy policies.
• Work effectively as part of the cleaning team with a consistent approach to hygiene and safety.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly.

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/move equipment as required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare policies.
