Nights Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Salary: £46,000 - £47,000 plus Night Shift Allowance and Overtime (OTE 60k), Healthcare, 23 Days Holiday.

Location: Peterborough.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with electrical experience to work nights (10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday) in a close‑knit maintenance team. The role involves working on a variety of new and refurbished manufacturing machinery, including 3‑phase motors, drives, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs. Training is provided where required. This is a long‑term, stable and secure position with a market‑leading, highly profitable company.

• Planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Work on 3‑phase motors, drives, hydraulics, gearboxes, and PLCs.
• Receive training through shadowing and courses to fill skill gaps.
• Adhere to the night shift schedule (Sunday to Thursday, 10pm‑6am).
• Complete overtime work, paid at 1.5× the regular rate.

• Current Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Electrical background.
• Willingness to work nights.
• Experience with manufacturing machinery preferred.
