We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Peterborough.

You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors, working across classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning designated areas to a high standard.
• Carrying out regular toilet checks and responding to spillages.
• Undertaking external cleaning, including litter picking and bin emptying when required.
• Supporting deep cleaning and covering for colleagues when needed.
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• Following health and safety and hygiene procedures.
• Working flexibly and responding positively to changing requirements.
• Providing a friendly and professional service to students, staff and visitors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in cleaning or a relevant environment.
• Has an understanding of health and safety and safe working practices.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Has good communication and customer service skills.
• Is reliable, flexible and well organised.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards.

You will also need to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe environment for students and staff.
