Peterborough/Bradford/Burnley or Stockton – Hybrid, 2‑3 days a week with travel as required for team meetings.

As Reward Manager, you’ll lead on creating fair, transparent, and values‑led reward practices that make a real difference for colleagues. You’ll manage pensions projects, influence external partners to secure the best reward offering, and drive continuous improvement across pay frameworks and benefits. Your work will directly support our Head of Organisational Development & Culture in delivering initiatives that champion wellbeing and recognition, ensuring Accent remains a great place to work.
Responsibilities- Lead on creating fair, transparent, values‑led reward practices.
- Manage pensions projects and drive continuous improvement across pay frameworks and benefits.
- Encourage collaboration and use data‑driven insights to inform decisions, support pay gap reporting, and ensure quality assurance on pay practices.
- Align reward with core values (Smart, Driven, Caring, Inclusive) to deliver meaningful benefits that support engagement, performance, and EVP.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in reward, compensation and benefits management, or a related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of reward strategy, pay benchmarking, and job evaluation frameworks.
- Extensive experience managing pension administration.
- Sound understanding of employment and pension legislation.
- Experience managing pay review and reward cycles, including modelling and governance.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
Spot salary: £58,242 per annum. Starting salary may be 5% or 10% below the spot rate for those developing skills, with clear progression to full amount.
Benefits include 28 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata for part‑time), additional birthday leave, cash health plan, car leasing scheme, retail & gym discounts, dedicated volunteering day, defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes, life assurance at three times salary.
