- To process and support with the operational workflow which will result in a safe and efficient bodyshop operation for Finished Vehicle Solutions
- Lead and manage all bodyshop operations, including prep, paint, panel, and SMART repair activities
- Monitor and manage service quality, ensuring compliance with DHL standards, customer requirements, and transport regulations
- Manage workflow, prioritisation, and turnaround times to meet operational targets
- Oversee warranty procedures and ensure full compliance with OEM requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (workshop, parts, warranty, operations)
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development conversations
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, transport legislation, and company procedures
- Previous experience in an automotive or bodyshop repair environment, with a strong understanding of repair methods and processes is essential
- Experience in roles such as Workshop Controller, Transport Supervisor, Operations Manager (supervisory or leadership roles), or similar is highly desirable
- Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology, Body Repair, Paint, or a similar discipline (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent) would be desirable
- Good stakeholder management and customer management skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, changing environment with the ability to meet operational demands, service level agreements, and standard operating procedures while consistently delivering compliant, high‑quality work
- Good understanding of parts ordering processes and stock control
- Full driving licence is essential
