Building Services Manager

Building Services Manager (Electrical) | Peterborough | £50,000–£55,000 + Package

Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Building Services Manager (Electrical) to join their team in Peterborough, leading electrical projects from estimating and tendering through to completion.

It's a varied role combining project management, estimating, commercial awareness and team leadership across commercial, retail and industrial projects from £10k to £1M. A genuine blend of technical, commercial and people management for someone who wants breadth rather than a narrow lane.

The role:

* Leading electrical projects from tender through to final account

* Preparing estimates, tenders, quotations and pricing

* Monitoring costs, profitability, valuations and variations

* Managing and coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers

* Attending client, design and site meetings

* Overseeing H&S and CDM compliance

* Leading, mentoring and developing the team

What we're looking for:

* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent

* 18th Edition and 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent

* Proven electrical project management experience across commercial and industrial

* Strong estimating and tendering background

* SMSTS and ECS Card

* Full UK driving licence required

* Enhanced DBS required

The package:

 * £50,000–£55,000

* Company vehicle or fuel allowance

* Profit share scheme

* Early finish Fridays

* 21 days holiday, increasing with service
