Abattoir Operative

We are looking for an EV/Offal Room Operative to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the EV/Offal Room, with duties including offal packing and grading of organs.

• 1) 4 shifts per week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern, 03:30-14:00 – Days
• 2) Monday – Friday 14:00pm – 22:30pm – Nights

• To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more.
• Abiding to Food Safety, Hygiene and COSHH to ensure safe production of our products.
• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
• Enjoy working to targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess high standards of work.
• Have a basic level of both written and verbal English.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided, Disability Confident.
