In this role, the successful Production Chemist or similar will be responsible for preparing and processing chemical components for manufacture. In addition, you will also be responsible for conducting routine tests and analytical measurements to ensure product meets quality standards alongside monitoring production batches and documenting all activities in production records and quality logs. On top of this, you will also be responsible for ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemical materials in accordance with COSHH and company safety protocols, maintaining clean lab and production areas.

Finally, you will be responsible for collaborating with inter-departmental teams to investigate and resolve product or process deviations

The ideal Production Chemist or similar will have previous experience within a Mechanical Design/Chemical Engineering position or a related role. In addition, you will ideally, but not essentially, come from a background within the HVAC/Refrigeration/Manufacturing sector and/or a related field. On top of this, you will be happy to travel both nationally and internationally on rare occasions. Finally, you will hold a degree within Chemistry or a related field, as well as a full, valid UK driver's license.
