Are you a night owl who thrives when the production line is humming? We are a leading national manufacturer with a major footprint in Peterborough, and were looking for a heavy:hitting Multi:

Skilled Maintenance Engineer to anchor our night shift.

This isnt a sit and wait for a breakdown role. Youll be the technical lead on:site during our critical production hours, ensuring our facility stays at peak performance while the rest of the world sleeps.

Youll be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of high:speed manufacturing machinery. We need someone who is truly multi:skilled:meaning youre as comfortable turning a wrench on a gearbox as you are navigating a control panel.

• PLC Fault Finding:
  You must be able to plug in, diagnose, and rectify faults within PLC software to minimize downtime.
• Reactive Maintenance:
  Rapid response to mechanical and electrical failures.
• PPMs:
  Executing the planned maintenance schedule to keep our long:term reliability high.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identifying bad actors on the line and suggesting modifications to prevent repeat issues.

We arent looking for part:timers:we need a dedicated professional who takes pride in their technical craft.

• Multi:
  
  Skilled Background:
  Level 3 qualified (NVQ/City and Guilds) in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• PLC
  
  Competency:
  
  Proven experience fault:finding on PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi).
• Night Shift
  
  Experience:
