Actemium Automation Peterborough (part of VINCI Energies) is seeking a Senior Panel Wire person to support the build, wiring and testing of industrial control panels for automation projects across manufacturing and process industries.

• Build and wire control panels and enclosures from electrical drawings and schedules.
• Terminate, label and test components (PLCs, HMIs, MCCs, relays, motor starters, field wiring).
• Carry out continuity, insulation and earth tests.
• Support FATs and produce as-built documentation.
• Work with engineers and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior wirepersons/apprentices.
• Ensure safe working in workshop and site environments.

• Qualified electrician or similar (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, apprenticeship).
• Experience wiring industrial control panels.
• Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams and I/O lists.
• Strong termination, cable management and testing skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and BS/IEC standards.
• Team-focused with good communication skills.
• Driving licence desirable; some site travel required.

Desirable: Experience with PLCs/HMIs (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, Rockwell) and involvement in FAT/SAT/commissioning.
