Job Overview
Mechanical Fitter – Near Whittlesey, £57,500 salary, 4 on 4 off days and nights shift.
We offer a high‑performing mechanical fitting role in a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for mechanical fault‑finding, breakdown response, and planned maintenance on production machinery, supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime.
Non‑Negotiable Requirements- Time served apprenticeship – NVQ Level 3 qualification minimum
- Mechanical bias
- Experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial environment
- Full rights to work in the UK
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills
- Experience of industrial installations and control systems
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Welding and cutting experience
