MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client in their 2025 recruitment initiative. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with small engineering projects. If you are an experienced manufacturing operative, with a background in mechanical, production or chemical manufacturing and looking for your next career move,

The job you’ll do:

  • Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.

  • Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules

  • Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.

  • Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site

  • Customer liaison and assisting in meetings

  • Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.

About you:

  • You will have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.

  • A strong communicator, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service

  • You may be from a machine operating background, where you have set up, stripped, cleaned and reassembled equipment.

  • You will be a team player and take a collaborative approach to project work.

  • You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.

  • Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
