Manufacturing Operative

Tallington
Job Type: Full-Time

Shifts:

Rotating weekly – 2:00pm–10:00pm / 6:00am–2:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Tallington.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or warehouse experience who is looking for a hands‑on role within a busy production environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured, assembled and packed to the required quality, safety and production standards.

The Role

As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating production equipment safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures
  • Working as part of a team and independently within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards
  • Carrying out general operative duties across different departments
  • Completing assembly work accurately and efficiently
  • Palletising large components ready for storage or dispatch
  • Picking and packing small parts accurately against documented bills and instructions
  • Moving between departments and supporting different areas of production as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following company procedures and production instructions at all times
What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous warehouse or production experience
  • Experience working to production targets and quality standards
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written instructions, bills and procedures
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support different departments
  • Previous experience operating plastic forming machines would be advantageous
