Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Mechanical Engineer (Days & Nights) We are working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/6 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams. Location :

- Working an average of 38 hours per week 12 hour shifts, Monday to Saturday (For example, across a 4 week month, you would work; 3 Days On/4

Days Off, 3 Days/4 Days Off, 4 Nights/3 Nights Off 4 Nights/3 Nights Off) The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks. To be successful, we would like you to have:
Relevant NVQ Level 3 Qualification or have served a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship Have experience working as an Industrial Mechanical Shift Engineer within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation. Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential.

Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment. Electromechanical skills are a definite advantage but not essential Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. As you can imagine in such a busy role, we would like you to be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a fast-paced department.

Machine Specific training will be provided. UK Right to Work Required
