Lisa Wright Recruitment is recruiting a Marketing Assistant for a growing local business in the electrical control and automation sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly marketing team and gain broad marketing experience, with potential to cover the Marketing Coordinator role in the future for further exposure and development.

Marketing Assistant

- Key Responsibilities

* Manage and optimise the company website: update products, write SEO-friendly copy, and maintain engaging content

* Support social media management, marketing campaigns, and company events

* Create visual assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

* Assist with internal communications, enquiries, and proofreading marketing materials

* Produce monthly reports on website and social media performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Hootsuite

Essential Skills

* Digital marketing experience

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Team player with basic HTML knowledge

* GCSEs in English & Maths (or equivalent)

Desirable Skills

* Google Analytics and SEO knowledge

* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite

* Good general IT skills

Hours:

37.5 per week (Monday–Friday, flexible for example (8-4, 8.30-4.30, 9-5)
