Registered Veterinary Nurse – Werrington Vets
Location: Peterborough
Contract: Permanent – 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with 1 in 4 Saturdays
Practice Type: First Opinion Small Animal
Competitive Salary: £27,000 – £30,500 depending on experience

Life at Werrington VetsWerrington is a busy first‑opinion practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Facilities include digital X‑ray, dental X‑ray, a separate dental suite, lap spay equipment, ultrasound, and dedicated Veterinary Surgeons visiting for orthopaedic, cardiology and sub‑tissue procedures.

The steady and varied caseload lets RVNs utilise and develop their full range of clinical skills. Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality patient care, run wards and monitor recovery.
- Deliver nurse consults and clinics.
- Monitor anaesthetics during operations.
- Support student nurses in their clinical journey.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients and their owners every day.
- Support the outcome of patient care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team.
- Ensure quality is maintained by keeping the practice in excellent condition, ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient.

- Contribute to creating a positive environment, fostering a friendly, welcoming and supportive team culture.
- Communicate with confidence, using exceptional written and verbal communication skills to build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, clients and pets.
- RCVS fees paid in full.
