Charge Nurse
We are looking for a proactive Deputy Ward Manager to join The Cavell Centre. This dynamic role requires a high level of patient care and staff management proficiency to support a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Lead assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care during night shifts.
- Maintain knowledge of local and national policies and legislation that govern service provision.
- Identify and contribute to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff.
- Ensure effective communication pathways and lead the shift in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Specialist, Ward Manager or designated deputy.
- Assist the Ward Manager with clinical leadership and serve as a clinical role model for the 24‑hour inpatient team.
- Work with the Matron to set, maintain and audit clinical standards in line with local and national priorities.
