About the Role: As post holder of this role, you will work alongside a talented team of 3 vets, 3 nurses (including dedicated students), and 1 VCA, where your nursing skills will shine. You’ll be hands-on in admitting patients, monitoring anaesthesia, recovering, and discharging patients, with the support of ANAs and SVN for theatre turnaround and patient prep.
Responsibilities- Admit patients, monitor anaesthesia, recover and discharge patients with support from the team.
- Assist with theatre turnaround and patient prep alongside ANAs and SVNs.
- No out-of-hours or overnight patient checks

This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Requirements of the Registered Veterinary Nurse- Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing).
- Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or equivalent governing body.
- Relevant clinical experience working in a veterinary practice or hospital.
- Proficiency in general nursing duties such as patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia.
- Experience in handling various animal species (small animals, exotics, or large animals, depending on the practice).
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments.
- Strong general nursing skills and excellent customer service
- Positive, down-to-earth, and passionate about animal care
