Salary up to £60,000 DOE.
We are looking for a full‑time Veterinary Surgeon with 2 years+ experience. Ideally this person will be happy to work across two sites, Oundle and Byre in Peterborough – split to be determined based on preference.
We are looking for someone with good level surgical competence for all routine surgeries and more common emergency procedures e.g. pyometra surgery.
The RotaYou will work 4 days weekly 8am‑7pm, with 1 day off a week. You will have a 1‑hour lunch break per day.
You will work 1/6 Saturday mornings 8:30‑12pm (Oundle or Peterborough both options) and 1/6 Saturdays 8:30‑5pm, with Friday afternoon as TOIL the following week. You will cover one late shift per week 9:30am‑7:30pm. There is no Out Of Hours involved in this role.
About usOur practice group consists of a dynamic team of 14.5 FTE Vets, with a mix of skills including an exotic specialist and certificate holders. We regularly hold clinical meetings to share knowledge and ideas, and we are committed to investing in new equipment to support best practice. There is a strong ethos of collaboration, so you’ll always feel part of a larger team, even while working across multiple locations.
