Technical Manager

BASIC SALARY
: up to GBP 60,000 per annum until you assume the Technical Director role.

As our new Technical Manager, you will oversee and mentor the Technical Director during a flexible handover period, expected to be completed within 12–18 months depending on your experience and level of knowledge. Your responsibilities will mirror those of the Technical Director, including:

• All chemistry‑related activities
• QHSE management, including GMP, VMD, ISO and health and safety compliance
• COMAH regulatory affairs
• Quality and Pharmaceutical (QP) oversight
• Laboratory, regulatory and compliance functions
• Technical leadership for manufacturing operations
• New Product Development (NPD)
• Product registration and pricing
• Process route advice
• Pre‑sales technical input
• After‑sales customer and technical support

• Qualified chemist with a degree in Chemistry
• Experience in chemical manufacturing
• Technical role exposure to formulation development, NPD, quality control, regulatory, compliance or QHSE
• Familiarity with COMAH (upper‑tier COMAH knowledge preferred, training will be provided)

Guaranteed succession plan and growth opportunity with the retirement of our Technical Director. Full autonomy over technical operation and compliance will be granted once you assume the role.
