Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Peterborough, Serpentine Green store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This is a part‐time, permanent position, contracted to work 4 hours per week.

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a fast‑paced shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

• Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till – processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
