£30,000 – 35,000
Our client are a leading business who focus and work with companies that design and manufacture their own products. Our client work with them to specify, source and supply reliable power solutions, backed by expert advice and dedicated customer support.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, asking the right questions and becoming a trusted contact for our customers.
This isn't a high-pressure sales role.
It's about understanding your customers, planning ahead with them and making sure they always receive the service they expect.

What you'll be doing
You'll become the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing customers.
Rather than simply processing orders, you'll take the time to understand:
* Their products
* Their industry
* Their manufacturing plans
* Their purchasing patterns
* Future projects
* Forecast requirements
You'll speak with customers regularly, helping them manage their call-off agreements, discussing upcoming demand and making sure they have the right products available when they need them.
You'll work closely with purchasing, sales and marketing to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with existing customers.
* Learn how each customer's business operates.
* Produce accurate order forecasts.
* Keep regular telephone contact with customers.
* Discuss new projects and future opportunities.
* Introduce suitable products when appropriate.
* Update customers on lead times and pricing.
* Monitor outstanding balances.
* Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
* Take ownership of your customer portfolio.
