Inside Sales Representative – Electrical Wholesale
Location: Peterborough Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Interaction Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected electrical wholesaler based in Peterborough. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their successful sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, providing outstanding service, and thrives in a fast-paced trade environment. Previous experience within the electrical wholesale industry would be highly advantageous.
The RoleAs an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales growth while delivering first-class service to an established customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Handling inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email.
- Producing competitive quotations and following them through to order.
- Proactively contacting customers to identify new sales opportunities.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Sourcing products and negotiating pricing with suppliers.
- Working closely with external sales colleagues to maximise business opportunities.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while meeting sales targets.
Our client is looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an internal sales or sales office role.
- Experience with in an electrical wholesaler is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, positive and commercially minded approach.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and experience using order processing or ERP systems.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy sales environment.
