Basic Salary

£55,000 - £60,000 plus uncapped bonus paid quarterly.

We are a market‑leading company providing measuring systems across aerospace, automotive and food sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer to develop a career with a growing provider of measuring solutions. The role requires occasional overseas travel (up to 3 months a year, usually 2 weeks at a time to the US) and regular visits to international customers.

• Drive business to agreed targets
• Travel internationally and visit customers, supporting representatives and handling direct sales.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and run trials at customer sites.
• Establish, manage and grow key account relationships.
• Provide installation support, on‑site training and ongoing technical assistance.
• Identify customer requirements and offer the best solutions through a consultative sales approach.
• Generate leads and develop new routes to market to complement existing structure and increase brand awareness.

We are looking for a driven and progressive Sales Engineer who has experience selling technical solutions and a proven track record of success.

Key qualifications:

• Experience selling technical solutions, consumables or components.
• Knowledge of measuring systems is an advantage.
• Proven B2B technical sales experience (capital equipment, components, services).
• Familiarity with the food, automotive or aerospace markets is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to travel overseas.
