Relief Retail Security Officer

Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues. It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (but training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).

• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide this may result in offer withdrawal or termination.

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
• Deterrence of violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Liaise with police and crime partnerships as required to foster a great working relationship and support crime reduction.
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to support crime reduction and increase colleague and customer safety.
