An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the team at BCA Peterborough. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional and reliable individual who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, visitors, staff, and site assets.

Working as part of the security team, you will play a key role in protecting the site, controlling access, and ensuring security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Unlocking and securing the site at the start and end of each day
Monitoring CCTV systems and conducting security checks
Controlling access to and from the site
Ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and vehicles
Responding to incidents and reporting security concerns appropriately
Maintaining accurate records, logs, and incident reports
Providing excellent customer service to visitors and contractors
Adhering to all site security procedures and company policies

Requirements Essential

Valid SIA Security Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain vigilant and professional in a busy environment
Good report-writing and IT skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
