Home Serve are now recruiting for directly employed Gas Repair Engineers to join our team!

Employment Details
  • Full Time – 40 hours per week average over the year (shorter in summer, longer in winter). Some weekend, evening and bank holiday work may be required.
  • Salary – £44,900 + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in the first year.

About the Role

As a Gas Repair Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair of gas appliances and central heating systems in customers’ homes. You will deliver industry‑leading service, support the company’s reputation, and help drive customer growth.

Requirements
  • CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 certificates – copies must be provided if successful.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills.
  • Proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
  • Keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
Training & Support

Our extensive training programme will support you from day one:

  • Week 1 – Attend Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday to learn Home Serve, health and safety, and receive tools and equipment.
  • Week 2 – Buddied with an experienced Home Serve Gas Repair Engineer.

Where geographically appropriate, accommodation and meal allowance for induction will be covered.

The Next Steps
