The apprenticeship is a 3‑year programme combining college and workplace learning, designed to train you to service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.

• Shadow and work with mentors and the service team to learn about material handling equipment.
• Gain hands‑on knowledge of forklift mechanics and troubleshooting.
• Attend block weeks at college for classroom and workshop learning.
• Participate in online learning and development with the learning provider.

• GCSE grades A‑C or 4‑9 in English, Maths, and either Science/Engineering or IT (or equivalent).
• Interest in mechanical engineering and a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to take instruction and continue developing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Minimum age 18 or over.
