Senior Practitioner – Family Safeguarding
Salary range: (currently unspecified).
Contract:
Permanent. Pay Grade: 12. Weekly hours: 37.

As a Senior Practitioner you will hold a complex caseload of children in need, child protection, and cases in the court arena. You will be empowered to make important decisions and flex your creative muscle to solve challenging situations with innovative solutions.
Easy access to complementary teams and services – with multi‑disciplinary collaboration – is provided. At Peterborough, Housing, Children with Disabilities, Adult Social Care, Legal, and other teams are all in one purpose‑built office with river and green space views and a city centre location close to main road and rail transport links.

All About You- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Diligent and detail‑oriented.
- Experienced yet willing to learn new things and maintain continuing professional development.
- Willingness and ability to travel between locations.
- In‑depth knowledge of the legal and policy frameworks that inform social work practice in Children's Social Care.
- Annual leave starting at 25 days plus bank holidays; ability to buy up to 10 additional days pro‑rata.
