THE ROLE AT A GLANCE
Location: The Beeches UK
Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)
Salary: £31,907 per annum
Sleep-in Pay: Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep-ins worked)
Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked
About the RoleAs a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment
- Leading shifts and guiding care staff
- Supporting care planning, record-keeping, and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
- A positive, resilient, and committed approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
