Qualified Social Worker needed for a Family Safeguarding team in Peterborough - £39 ph - Hybrid Working!

• Location: Peterborough
• Working Pattern: Hybrid- 2days office based
• Rate: £39per hour

This is a dynamic and rewarding role within a Family Safeguarding Service, working with children and families where there are safeguarding concerns. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, supporting families to create safe and sustainable home environments while ensuring children’s welfare remains the priority. The team focuses on collaborative, strengths-based practice to reduce risk and improve long-term outcomes.

• Manage a caseload including:
• Section 17 (Child in Need) cases
• Section 47 (Child Protection) enquiries
• Pre-proceedings and active care proceedings

• Undertake statutory visits in line with departmental guidelines
• Complete assessments, care planning, and reviews to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
• Work directly with children and families to promote positive and sustainable change
• Prepare reports for court and attend legal proceedings where required
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
  
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
