Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team at Peterborough County Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and their families.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

* Managing a caseload of children and young people with disabilities

* Completing assessments and statutory reviews

* Developing and reviewing care plans

* Working directly with children, young people and families

* Identifying and managing safeguarding concerns

* Working alongside schools, health professionals and other agencies

* Supporting families to access appropriate services

* Promoting positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing

* Maintaining high-quality case records

About You

We're looking for a qualified Social Worker with:

* A recognised Social Work qualification

* Current Social Work England registration

* Experience working within Children's Services

* Experience with children with disabilities is highly desirable

* Strong assessment and safeguarding experience

* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to manage a caseload effectively
