About the Role

Our work covers a wide remit within social care practice such as S17 assessments, strategy discussions, S47 investigations, care proceedings and CP. What is the Young People's Safeguarding Service?

We are a diverse and dedicated team of professionals who provide a supportive environment for colleagues and encourage creativity in our work with young people.

We adopt a Trauma Informed approach and utilise our psychologists within the team to support our work. The voice of the child is central to all we do and we endeavour to get alongside families and utilise their family network with our support wherever possible.

You will work closely with partners from police, health, youth justice, housing and education to ensure a robust safeguarding response.

You will be joining a team full of energy, curiosity and a whole lot of experience! We invite you to come on board and share your knowledge and skills with us and collectively we will continue our journey to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people within our local community!
