About the Role
Love being behind the wheel and keeping things moving? Join Dawsongroup’s truck and trailer team as a Driver and play a key part in keeping our fleet running smoothly and customers happy.
- Working hours:
7.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday ( Would consider part time hours) - Hourly rate: £14.25 per hour.
- Transport vehicles safely between customer sites, workshops, and our branches.
- Present vehicles for MOT inspections with confidence and care.
- Help out with office duties, vehicle handovers, and occasional guest transport.
- Keep vehicles in top shape inside and out.
- Support with ad hoc tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.
You take pride in your driving, stay organised on busy days, and don’t mind pitching in where needed.
- You hold a full, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence (this one’s a must!)
- CPC Card up to date and ready to go.
- Comfortable with day-to-day vehicle checks and general upkeep.
- Friendly, professional, and happy dealing with people face to face.
- Always safety‑aware and looking after the details.
