Pay Rate: £39,736 based on a 48 hour week (£15.92 per hour, includes paid breaks). Overtime Mon‑Sat paid at £23.88 per hour.

We’re now looking for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Monday to Friday start times between 06:00‑07:00.
• Overtime paid daily at time and a half (approx 5 hours per week).
• Movement of engine parts – shifts could include between 1‑3 deliveries across the North East / Midlands plus a collection to Stafford, Nuneaton or Peterborough.
• Strapping of load with ratchet straps required.
• Curtain sided trailer and FLT load and unload.

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Have a can‑do attitude.
• Have curtain sided trailer experience.
• Live locally to Peterborough.
