As a Class 1 Driver within our Truck and Trailer Business Unit, you will play an important role in supporting the effective operation of our rental business. You will deliver and collect vehicles, present vehicles for MOT and ensure equipment is handled, parked and maintained safely and professionally.

  • Deliver and collect vehicles from customers, Company branches and workshop premises.
  • Present vehicles for MOT and assist with parking equipment securely in the correct areas.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks, including oil, water and tyre condition, before journeys.
  • Clean vehicles inside and out to the required Company standard and report any defects, accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Support wider branch duties when required, including check-ins and check-outs, vehicle cleaning and other driving duties.

About You

You will hold the licences and qualifications required to operate safely and will take pride in providing a professional service to customers. You will have a flexible attitude, a polite demeanour and the ability to follow driving, health and safety requirements at all times.

  • A current, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence and Driver Qualification Card are essential.
  • The ability to complete tasks safely and within driving rules and regulations.
  • Basic paperwork and form completion skills.
  • A clean, tidy and professional approach, including appropriate non-slip footwear.
